André Torreilles is a painter and decorator living in the south of France. In conversation in the half-light of his attic in a hot summer day, he speaks about his life, his vision of art and decoration and how he lives and works in his house. He opens me the doors of his great artwork: his own house. He conceived each room of this house as a sort of cabinet of curiosities, collecting existing objects, sometimes old and strange, and creating also himself his own objects of curiosity. Each time the eye stop there is something new to discover, each point of view is well-planned, and everywhere it’s a new invitation to travel, through the imagination of one man.
